No experience is required. However, members have often demonstrated interest or passion for the subject in the past through their own experiences or are able to craft a meaningful story on why they want to pursue a career in financial services.

Although not mandatory, we highly recommend attending an Infosession at the minimum. Not only will you be able to learn more about what we do and offer, but you will get to network with our leadership team and members.

Yes, membership in FIC is a highly competitive process. We take a holistic approach and review every applicants’ event participation, essay responses, resume, academic record, and contextual background in a 360 degree review process.

We have no minimum or maximum word limits. Rather, we look for responses that convey the applicant’s ideas in a clear, concise format that also demonstrates passion and effort

Our entire club will be out in full force to chat and socialize. Meet our people, hear their experiences of being in FIC, and get the chance to speed network with members.
Application Closes
Our application involves basic information, resume & transcript upload, several short essay questions, and some finance technical questions. Late applications will not be accepted.

Superday Interviews
Our interviews are designed to continue the conversation and help us learn more about you, and vice-versa. Interviews will be held in-person, on campus. Candidates invited to interview will receive further information on preparation, logistics, and attire. After the interview, you can look forward to hearing back on whether or not you’ve been made an offer to join FIC.
